Joleen East Nelson

Joleen East Nelson is an attorney at Lieser Skaff Alexander’s Tampa office where she focuses her practice on business and real estate litigation.

Joleen has extensive litigation experience after working within the general liability department of a large, state-wide defense firm in Florida for the past few years. Earlier in her career, Joleen served as a judicial law clerk for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit Court.

Joleen graduated magna cum laude from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business Law. She then attended the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where she graduated cum laude. While in law school, Joleen received a Book Award for receiving the highest grade in Trial Practice. She also served as the Executive Acquisitions Editor for the Journal of Law and Public Policy and was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution team.

Joleen now brings the knowledge and experience she has gained to Lieser Skaff Alexander, where she will continue to serve as a strong advocate for her clients.

In her spare time, Joleen enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and reading.
